Bunique - your car rocks. Why are all the guys with the badass VR's selling?

 

Idk about anyone else, but I have something different in mind. I love my car, and know I will miss it if it ever sells. I get a lot of comments too on the red and black. Good luck with everything.

 

Thanks man. Yeah, deedub is parting out/selling, and you. Oh well, it means ill have to take over for the most badass VR now i guess. But that means my lazy *** better get to work!

 

haha ya, you got your work cut out for you. deedub's car was pretty sick. can't wait to see what you come up with.

 

No kidding. You guys set the bar pretty high. But I do custom metal fab, body work and paint for a living, so I should be able to pull it off. See what happens I guess...

Just a quick pic, made this scoop from scratch and painted it. Looked stock top and bottom. I'm excited to finally start on my 8 now.



Hood came in like this already missing the center piece.



Bump to myself, trying to get back on track. Looking for perhaps a semi-gloss roof photoshop, or any other absurd or random color that would look good with red.

i have one car in the works but it's the miata I already have..it'll be going under the knife pretty soon. As far as the car that will be replacing the 8, im holding off for a while, not 100% sure as to what I want..

 

Why don't you try red and white? It would look "different".

See, now that's more like what I have in mind to do. Closer. Wonder how it would look without the black making it on the bumper, but ending at the hood instead... That, or making it further down so it gets up to the lip at the bottom of the bumper.

 

I owe too much on my car to worry about something differnet just yet

Maybe some day, noobs will recognize my car as 'one of the badass' VR's.

 

I know what you want its green and has bronze volks on it. It can be on the boat next week
