In Car Video of first run... and horrible spin out. I was just trying to feel the course, and ended up losing it while trying to setup for a sharp right turn. As soon as I knew it was hopeless, I just stomped on the throttle to get a full donut

I just noticed in the original 3rd video, you can see the 8 pop a big white flame.
Fabulous!!

It still shows up on the youtube clip 1/3 of the way in... but its not very noticeable.

Thanks Fellas, it was fun indeed.
Unfortunately that will be my last race for a long time. This year was a decent run with about 5 races in 2 months.
Hopefully racing will pick up again at my new location, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Sweet vids. How do I sign up? I'd like to get into autox sooner or later

 

We're posting the autocross schedule in the Gulf Forum.
Its pretty simple. You can usually just show up 1-1.5 hours before start time and register at the event. That will get you plenty of time to register, prep your car, go through tech inspection, and walk the course a few times.
