Nah.... I'll leave that task to my GoldWing until December then she will become my DD.

Yah, well, if you want to whip up on E46 M3's and Charger SRT8's, you better man up. Don't get me wrong - I love the G8 GT, but it's going to take just a little more power... a few mods away from kicking their asses.

350Z's, Charger RT's and Mustang GT's would be cannon fodder against a well driven G8 GT.

Congrats man, that G8 looks pretty nice.

It's hard to validate that stereotype in this day and age... Just an example: Not a fair comparison, because they're highly modified, but just a watched a slew of Pontiacs (G6s?) chase down 911s and our very own Speedsource #70 at Laguna Seca last weekend.

 

never been a fan of pontiacs

grand ams, GTPs, sunfires, azteks, g6, g8, solstice. all CRAP :\

but if you like it, thats all that really matters in the end.

 

ive been driving one at the dealership for about 2 months.

its got a lot of power. even with an AT.

Havent seen one in white yet.
Black is my favorite so far.

GTP sunfire azteks = old pontiac models, that got GM in the problem they have.

G6,g8 solstice = the new models that everyone is giving great reviews.

how can you bash a new roadster that costs 20k. No its not a performance beast, but not everyones looking for a car like that.

 

Check out the Speed Channel and you will find out that the G8 handles remarkably well.

It looks like I have come from out of the darkside and into the light as I am now the new White Knight with my G8 GT mu ha ha..............

people say eww pontiac without even giving it a look. believe me its alot more car than a mazda 6. ALOT more.

 

Still love how everyone (outside car nuts like us) think the G8 is a "orginal american car" when its just a rebadged Holden. All reviews I've heard praise this car and say that Pontiact is well on its way to "being a lower cost BMW choice". Thats assuming they keep on putting out cars like this (which means more models being swiped from Holden hehe).

So Razz.. what type of a deal did you get? That and what drove ya to buy it?
