I went to the mazda lot the weekend before last, thinking about getting a Mazda 3 or a Mazda 6 - you know, something sensible :p and then... I saw them. A row of beautiful 8's. Spent last week mulling everything over, reading tons of posts here, searching test drive reviews, churning my gut at the prospect... then came last saturday - the test drive. Needless to say, I had to have one.

So long story short, and tons of horrible dealer experiences later, I now have this beautiful little thing sitting in my garage...





Would take better pics, but it's raining, and why subject my baby to such things as that?!

I'm sure a lot of it is normal first time buyer stuff combined with having no credit history and a weird job where I work from home with offices in Florida and Mass. Gotta say though, big ups to Jake Sweeney Mazda for finding the car that I wanted, as opposed to trying to force off what was on the lot on me like 4 other local dealers did.

What, you don't like washing machines?! :D

Hopefully the rain will go away for the weekend and I'll get to admire, enjoy, and take some better pics in the sunshine that the car deserves!
