I appreciate the photos. Nice work.
I will be very interested to see how the U.S. response to the GT-R. The big league tuners will gobble them up as quickly as they can get their greasy hands on them but for the average joe, I'm just curious.
How many people that can afford a $70k+ automobile know about this car? For that price there is alot of other cars out there. I understand all the performance numbers the GT-R is putting out but we, as informed auto enthusiasts, will understand that, but again the dentist/ doctor/ executive out there is going to be drawn to the european market, mostly, IMO, because of the status that comes with a higher end european auto maker.
If I had the means, I think that I would be on the fence on this one. Just some thoughts.

Momentum Keeps Me Going
I'm feeling the same thing...the GT-R has about .001% the street cred with well monied professionals as any number of the lesser European performance cars out there...and 70+K isn't chump change, although not really expensive either. Upwardly mobile professionals have a strong herding instict and may not bite. Performance enthusiasts are going to be super-interested but suspicious as it's a new vehicle with potential problems, not any history (sound familiar?).
But I don't understand Wolverine....you're there, but where are pics and what about rotary cars and rotary engines at the Mazda booth? What going on? Is Mazda pulling a no show on rotary product?

The Nissan disappointed me - a very busy and muddled design. The poor Subie is just emasculated. Sad to see. The LF-A looks really nice and the Reventon is Stealth Fighter on wheels. I wonder if it's got the radar signature of a small bird as well.
The Taika has some neat design cues. Gotta wonder what of it will show on the next RX-8.
