Neat . That RX-8 looks like mine, minus the Axis Wheels. Thanks for putting money in James Chen's pocket. Man, I hate that guy .

You need to take pics in the light. The up close ones are ok, but its hard to see the others very clearly. Nice rims though.

I'm thinking of buying the exact same wheels. Any problems with the 275's rubbing in the rear? Did you get them from wheelstudio.com?

Yeah, those look great. I like the simple clean design. Kinda like a 5 spoke version of my wheels. And yes, adrian-1, the 275s will fit. My rears are 285/35 and I have no rubbing issues. I also have the rear fenders rolled which helps and it's a cheap and easy process too.

No rubbing anywhere. I got them from a local dealer that gave me the same price as on line.

This weekend I'm going with either H&R or Eibach, which ever they can get here by friday, the Eibachs seem to be in back order, but they are checking around to try to get them.

The calipers I painted using VHT High Temp Paint, I did a silver base coat with a red top coat, I think is the silver that makes them so bright.

I was affraid of the color of the rims not matching the car, but it is very very close...
I'll take some better pics and post them later on this week. Thanks everyone....

Cool, I've ordered them and they should arrive by the weekend. I installed the MS springs/shocks a few weeks ago. I need to get a wheel alignment after I get the wheels on.

I bought the springs / shocks used from another member for $550. Mazda states it lowers it .8 inches, but I think it's more like 1 inch. You can get them new for $650 from rosenthalmazda.com or trussvillemazda.com, but I believe they're on backorder.

I'll post pics after the wheels come in. If you search in the wheels section, member cortc has the hiros and the MS suspension. It looks really nice.

Looking good. I plan to get that wheel set up in the future. Nice to see it on another Titanium so I know what it will look like. Can't wait to see it dropped.

Very nice! I have a silver RX-8 and bought the Hiros as well in hyper silver, but have to wait for the snow to disappear before I can get them on. I'm assuming you got ET45 front and ET55 rear? Can't wait to see it lowered! btw my friend has the eibach spotline spings on his 8 and absolutely loves them. If you'rfe not really in a big rush to get it lowered I'd save up a few more bucks to get a set of coilovers, I ran TEIN Flex last summer with 275/35 and 235/40 and it handled amazing.

Haha. I never noticed that this thread goes back to July of 2004. I just did a random Google search on RX-8 and Axis Hiro and this came up.

Nah they're still sitting in the basement for a few more weeks until more of the salt washes off the road (live in Toronto) before I put them on. I'll post some pics when I do though.
