Those are some cool as pics, some of the best i have seen on here. The 2 shots of the rear of the black 8 with the glare taken out of the tails look insane. Look like a Demon in the mist waiting to pounce! Pretty sweet.

Glad you love the pics! Nordic Green tends to look black at night, it's a phantom color

The only issue I see with having this as a brake light is it can cause the person following to look down at the light which shortens the distance that they see ahead of your car. And in a car that can stop as fast as a Corvette and even quicker if driving over 100MPH can pose a risk of rear end collision.

My suggestion is to attach to the parking lights and let the brake lights that exist do the alerting for the driver following.

i believe that is what lebren instructs in his post. they tap into the license plate light.

it's not really a brake light as konig suggests in his first post. you can see the top mount 3rd brake light is not on at all, so they aren't braking.

Thanks NgoRX8, I had seen some refer to it as the Third brake light.
The pictures of the three 8s lights are overexposed due to the low lighting giving the impression that the brake lights or engaged but the trunk lid light was not so it seemed odd.

It is great as an accent light.

The pictures are quite pleasing to the eyes of the three 8s!

correct, this just functions as a 3rd rear light that operates independent of the brake lights and is on when the parking lights are on.

the 3rd brake light on the trunk still functions.

I looked over installation and I didnt understand the process of tab splicing. I don't want to mess my 8 by a simple mistake.

I want!

I can haz?

I send you moneys!

I have an aftermarket rear rotary accent from Rotary13B1.com, but I'm guessing that's close enough to the stock piece to have this fit too?

Where can I find out purchasing and shipping info for this light?
