I remember Stang owners doing this back in the late 80's. I too thought it was a neat idea. Though it is creative, I still prefer to keep mine stock if not for legality alone.

You don't really see it at all when it's not lit. That's the one thing I do like is that you only see it when brakes are applied.

Im no fan either. sorry to say. I guess it looks allright on a debadged 8, but with all the emblems it looks a lil cluttered.

It's probably a carbon fiber overlay of the orginal trunk.

Thanks Jedi, it's actually a Seibon trunk partially painted. We did have to make some more adjustments after the first install but came out nicely, I think. I would never do an overlay...
