I think this could still be pulled off if you got rid of all the chrome as other people have stated. Wheels need to be gold, The colors don't look bad together, the design just doesn't flow right.

 

My point is, Taj, that if you bring it up, it's not politically incorrect for me to mention it.

You don't get to chime in with someone who doesn't know that you have one on your dashboard and take offense.

it does look terrible. it goes nicely with the expedition parked next to it with crappy chrome rims, cheap chrome door handles and trim, and eBay euro tail lights.

yup, I did it my self, btw, I'm putting back my stock fender vents because these have terriblez fitment issues

anyhow I decided to paint it black, and will try not to make them contrast too much, no I just need strakes........

Do you let everyone decide what goes on with your car?
Its okay to have differences of opinion with what you like and what others like.

 

I think most of them are against the color scheme because they like picking on you... I personally like the gold on silver. Black on silver wouldn't look as nice imo. Maybe a darker grey would look nice but if I were you, I'd do Carbonfiber Overlays on it... I know it sounds rice to put carbon fiber overlays on it but it'll look nice.

 

^ I actually wanted black in the first place, which is why I'm repainting it black, John told me to do gold, so I did just to see how it looks

it turns out in my honest opinion (which is why I'm not sure whether I was on crack and came to this forum asking for advice) that my car now looks like a pimping ricer car, so I was like..........ahhhhh

just wanted to make sure I am actually sane before I go repainting it, I already got the paint ( Burning black metallic) godly primer, and some nice clear coats, and I got john (renesis SE3P) which is like godly at painting stuff to help me, so all good
