Thank you sir. I do take pride in my 8. Helps that I know a thing or two about pro detailing and the fact it's in my garage almost all day, everyday. She does look good for an 04' with 50K miles.

Hey Josh, did you manage to get the hood dampers installed without adding a gap? I thought about getting those a long time ago, but people were complaining about them adding a gap to your hood. It would be nice to have considering how often we're checking the oil

Yes, I cut the intake box, then a piece of plexi to match the shape. Thought it would be nice to see the filter, especially since it has that nice blue anodized piece on it.

There's no real gap, it's just ever so slight lifted by less than 1mm due to the mounting plate. Just look at all the photos of my car above, that's with the dampers.
