Summer Love....lots of pics

Decided to completely detail the car.

steps:
clean engine bay
clean wheel wells
presoak car
wash car
claybar
polish
wax
dress engine
polish exhaust

Did the same today. I zainoed my baby. It was 6 of the longest hours of my life. Honestly, ive never felt soooooo physically exhausted in my life. Was supposed to go out tonight, but my bodys in pain.

^lol funny how much our cars look the same.... the little differences make them very different but nice looking car too

is there any disadvantage to ripping out the insulation in the engine bay?

Looking at your last picture makes me want to put up a tent next time I wash/detail my car. The garage is too tight at my place and I would be out in the sun if I did detailing.

There are several threads about this but noise would be the only one I can think of for me personally

i perosnally dont think the noise is significant enough to be a disadvantage

Looks great. Did you machine polish it? I did mine a few weeks ago, and the difference is night and day, although mine was in great condition before.

I didnt get my Porter Cable in time for this detail but I did use a 2800 rpm buffer. When I get the PC I will go for a cut, polish, and wax
