Sorry to hear about your car. Just be glad you were not on a motorcycle, or rather a sports bike model when you got hit or hit it. I know first hand what a bitch it is when you go down on a sports bike from those things and the painful aftermath.

FWIW, deer does taste pretty good. The problem with getting it in a restaurant (my only source, since I don't hunt) is that most chefs think they need to do something with it, and will cover it with sauces and seasonings that completely obscure the taste.

Agree. I know people that hunt and have eaten venison with them, and they hardly do anything, seasoning and marinade-wise, and it's great

We cook different parts of the deer differently based on where the meat came from. Some are turned to steaks, some roasts, others for fondue and the best is making your own deer jerky.
