If you find that **** you best be writing his car off with a bat... even if it's another 8 owner, ha ha.

Why is it that nobody respects other peoples' property anymore?

Take the fender off, and bang that dent out. You can probably get it almost back to normal, but you'll still have to get it repainted.

Unfortunately no matter how careful you are the urethane parts will always show a defect. If they were fiberglass they could be repaired, but not urethane. I ultimately had to replace my bumper last year due to similar. There are more suck-ers out there then ever it seems.

The fenders are aluminum...not urethane.

i had some lady back into my first 8 with her suv. dented it just like that. lucky she left a note. had it estimated at $1200. their insurance paid it. i took the fender off myself and had a mazda dealership pop it out and repaint it for $200. bought me a new exhaust and made a car payment. sweet.

Wow, you learn something new every day. I knew the hood and suicide doors were aluminum, but not the fenders.

btw: Urethane is very resilient to minor dents/dings which is its appeal in this application, but once massively distorted it cracks in ways that just can't be simply repaired and replacement is the norm.

Yeah, I've taken a fender off an 8 and banged the dent out. It's a very thin material.

I was speaking the automotive industry in general appreciates the resilience of urethane, as first marketed as such by the Pontiac Fiero in the mid 80's.

Dammit I would find that truck at school and take a pic of the damage and make a police report...
