Stock vs MS Sport Dual Exhausts

i very roughly did a side by side of the stock and the new MS Sport Dual Muffler Exhaust. it gives you an idea of the difference between the two. maybe this will somehow help those that are looking for a certain "look".

That is exactly what I was looking for to make sure nothing was wrong with MSP exhaust. Your tip is also pretty high up in the bumper outlet, I can only get a single finger in between the to. Thanks.

i do think that appears higher since the tips are a little bigger than stock. i polished the tips today and had no problem getting my fingers in there. it is a tight squeeze, but do-able.

Yea, I just was worried that there was a bunch of room below the tips and only a finger's width above them. I hope they don't melt anything, because those suckers get hot.

One other question, do you notice them fogging up your back bumper right around each one with steam too?

I've had several peeps ask me...so I'll just post it. New MS dual muff exhaust with MS body kit. The tips are slighty to the outside, thats probably why they want you to cut trim off the stock exhaust area while others don't.

Nice. It seems like the new one doesn't hang as low as the oem one.

I think that it's tricky with the aftermarket exhausts. The OEM sits perfectly in the middle of the exhaust shrouds but very few, if any, of the aftermarket exhausts do. I had the RX8Store/ Magnaflow exhaust and one side sat in the middle but the other drooped a little to the bottom right. I sold it and now am back to stock. I like the look but desire the sound again. I was considering this exhaust but after these pics I just don't know. A lot of the aftermarket exhausts from what I've seen are too high, too wide, too low or something. It's driving me nuts. Anyone else or am I alone on this one?

Well, this is mine... as you can see from this pic, there is plenty of room. I certainly dont think it sits too high. I have the SR exhaust.

I don't mind them being a little high as long as they don't melt anything, those tips get much hotter than stock. The look is great and the sound is great except for the 2800-3300 rpm range, where it seems to be much louder than any other rpm and I will have to learn to stay out of that area. It is quiet above or below that when cruising though which is nice on the highway.

as stated before... of course, they do "sit" a little higher. after noticing this, i kept an eye on the shrouds, just to make sure nothing was melting. i did not do the recommended trimming of the shrouds and have had no problems.

here is a little better pic of the ms exhaust.

in some ways the oem exhaust never sat perfectly either. But I think the ms one isn't that off centered. I've seen the espelir exhaust in person and its perfectly centered you might want to look into that one.
