I recently sold my Rebel XT. I'm going on a trip and needed the cash. But I used some of the money I got to buy myself a Canon S3 IS. It's a fantastic camera. At first I longed for the Rebel again, but after playing with the settings I'm very happy with it. Anyway it was a nice day so I took the 8 out for a drive and took some pics.

They are compressed to hell to make them internet friendly as possible. I have higher res versions if anyone is interested. Unfortunately the high compression kills the image quality. The uncompressed images look great.

I need a polorizing filter for the S3...I know...

i was the first kid on the block to have a digital camera. of course now im the only kid on the block who needs a wagon to cart his camera around

 

I really liked pics 1 and 4. The shed in 2 an 3 did nothing for the pics.
