Spoolinmazda RX8 Gauge Pod

Well I have been working on a suitable gauge pod for the RX8 for a while. Unfortunately with the prices to prodce something in ABS plastic one is kinda of limited. So I looked around a bit and with the inspiration of an FD gauge I decided to make the following:

very cool . Is it pointing straight back or angled towards the driver - IE will it be suitable for RHD cars ?

That is incredibly well designed. I am absolutely interested. Please start a GB

Also: How readable are the gauges while driving? I'm looking at getting the same gauges.

You really don't read the gauges while driving. Just know where the position is at.

Keep your eyes on the road and pass that EVO on the track.

the gauges are angled toward the driver... if there was enough interest I could possibly figure somehign out for rhd down the road. I fabricated the pod from scratch and the gauge install is like any other install not too bad.

This is way better looking (IMO) than the other pod and does nothing permanent to your car (no gluing, screwing, etc.) I am not a big fan of pod gauges usually but this looks very clean. I want.

Because mediocrity rules when there is only one option, honestly I think the Loki/Lotec looks like a melted POS, IMHO. This is much cleaner and harkens back to a simular and popular design for the 7...

The look, quality, and the loss of my center consule did not make the lotek a very appealing option. So I took the initiative and made this one.

Like Rotr8 said it is modeled after the very popular pod that was made for the 7. I was trying to keep the rotary heritage alive

prefer the look of lotek however I like how you dont have to cut up or mess up the dash and it still does look good!

great job!

the pod is made to fit 52mm gauges. the price is yet to be determined as I am still trying to figure out if it would be worth the trouble.
