Sound clips of -MS CAI- RP supercat & MS ex.

A lot of people have been asking for clips of the new MS CAI, so here they are. I was pleased to find my middle vacuum hose ajar today, so I took a quick trip to the local automotive store. A few hose clamps later, the problem was solved and I figured I may as well make some clips

Here is one with the mic placed in the engine bay :

And another, this time with the mic in front of the filter / MS front bumper :

Thank you in advance.

http://media.putfile.com/Exhaust-Leak-

that is what it sounded like 2 days after it was installed

it has quieted down quite a bit and has a nasty low growly rasp sound now [if that makes any sense] and it sounds real "tinny" when you first turn it on

Thank you.

Sounds good.

I just can't make my mind up b/w the RB and the MS with the RP S-Cat.

I know all the arguments about the RB's weight but that doesn't concern me. I'm just thinking that the MS will be too loud once all is said and done.

Ya, that's what I heard as well. The MS sounds great, but I think that overtime it would get annoying. Not only that, but I hear it drones pretty bad on the highway. I would have to hear and ride with someone that has both of these exhausts in person before shelling out the money. I think that you should do the same because it sounds different in person.

I agree with zoom zoom ... you should hear it in person first [I just took the chance] I love it and I think it sounds awesome after warmed up but keep in mind I like my cars LOUD.

Is it true that it does drone on the highway? I remember someone said that between 3600-4100 RPM's it drones... but that's kinda ironic because those are exactly the RPM's you are cruising between while driving on the highway.

That's the nature of the engine. I have a midpipe with OEM muffler. It always sounds buzzy and tinny for the first while. Once the engine warms up, it changes to a more mellow sound.

I just don't want to get an exhaust that is so loud and annoying, that when my dad rides in the car with me with no music he can enjoy himself and not be thinking of that exhaust making such a loud noise and being so annoying. He doesn't ride in my car much, but if we ever take a road trip in my car, it would be the last if he didn't like riding with me.
