yep, vegas is dessert country... nothing but sweets and bonbons galore. can't walk 10' without hitting a puddle of chocolate syrup. that's actually sugar, not sand you see.

Shovels???? are you talking about those items that you dig up cactus with? If you were not careful you could have slept thru the "snow in Vegas"

There may be a global climate shift but it would be terrible - to be a maple leaf

To have maples growing next to desert palms

the snow was tragic yesterday but as phil has said. its only 1pm the next day....sunny as can be and 60% of the snow already melted! :P

Now pine trees we have - messy buggers aways droping nettles and cones. Skates, sure don't they have rollers on the bottom

ha thats nothing!

Its supposed to start snowing tonight and were supposed to have 11 inches by tomorrow morning here in chicago (and theres already 8 inches on the ground).

My 8 is cozy in the garage for these salty winter days.

Yeah we have a storm coming in tomorrow. Snow day!!! Then another on Sunday. I guess my 8 will be in the garage till the roads are clear...

Yes, but it's a dry heat.

We got a few inches over night (in Chicago). The 8 was bottoming out a few times on the streets. I'm not lowered yet.

haha, yea were going through a blizzard right now as alneilson mentioned, they were saying 10-15 inches yesterday but Im not sure if we quite got that much overnight, its still a lot though.

well the snow is still around. its mostly in the places where the sun doesn't beat down all day. there is actually quite a bit more than you would expect still left. lets see how long it will last :DDDDD
