2 friends and I went for a spirited drive through Pasco and Hernando County. We did some strong driving and tore up a ton of twisties. Got a little sideways at times and did enough fun driving to get arrested for. We go once a weekend and are finding more and more roads that are just awesome. No pics of the route but next weekend I will get some. My Ti 8, my buddy Sam's Evo 8 and my buddy Jackson's new Ninja

Thanks. The badge helps but havent had any worries. We passed one cop but we had just hit the apex of a really fast corner and were gone aound by two more before I could look to see if he turned around. Love bugs are out in full force and minivans came out around 1030 so we had to stop. We got up at 0730 and the weather was nice and cool

 

He is stock except for the intercooler. It is a really nice car. Handles quite well too.

 

^Were you guys really pushing it through the turns? How was the Ninja keeping up with you on the twisties?

 

Yeah we were pushing it. The ninja is brand new(185 miles). It's his first bike so he was being careful. He was keeping up though the long turns but was a few back through the serpentine ones. I just put a lower under brace on the car and now it's extremely tight. Holds though any corner. I got loose once so I think I need to soften up the rear sway to compensate for the under brace.

How fast were you going when you broke the back out?

 

I think around 73 in a 20mph corner. I looked down during the slide and saw 73. The evo was about 2 feet off my bumper and I think the draft spun me. I was fine on faster corners and when he was that close I felt it start to slide. I had no problem in any other corner.

Jedi: I have the turbo kit and awaiting the install in a few weeks.

 

Yeah, sliding at 73 sounds kinda scary to me.
