Hey, i have searched with no luck... does anyone have any pics of a black rx8 with white wheels? i am getting mine re-furbished soon and considering either gun metal grey alloys or white alloys for mine

Black with with white wheels? Ummmm...ok. Gunmetal for sure man. Besides, white wheels are a pain to keep clean. Trust me, I gave my stock wheels to a friend who powdercoated them white for his white P5. Looks great when clean.

I would like a VR with white rims. Or a WWP with black rims. Having a BB with white rims can be hard to pull off with some cars. Like our car.

 

Yeah, it does depend on many things like the style of the rims, width, offsets, etc. But, believe me, black with white wheels are dead sexy.

 

i always thought of white wheels as a Honda thing, since most of their type R vehicles sport white wheels stock from factory

 

white rims are nice. Not as hot as black though

The best pictures I have. I have yet taken my own since I do not have a camera.

But one thing is certain, WHITE is very hard to clean. I gave up trying to keep in side the wheel well clean. If you let all the dirt/brake dust get inside just keep it there as it then looks black and you cant tell. But from 100 miles you will need to scrub your wheels again with soap/water. I painted my wheels using Dupli Color wheel paint, I will be powdercoating them this winter.

 

Dear god, I can't imagine white as a color on my wheels... I already have hell cleaning the brake dust.

 

white is great, since my car is my toy and not the dd. i dont have to keep washing them every other day as I'd normally would. White is hard to keep clean. But when their clean is does look great no doubt about it. I normal put about 100 miles every 2-3 weeks on my car. So I wash it about every 2 weeks.
