RX8 vs mountain

Was out crashing here the other day :S

They have started some construction work on a road Ive driven 1000 times, but when I came around the bend the road was filled with gravel. :O Looked like a pro drifter for 2 sec but as all non pro drifters I ended up in the mountain pretty hard, no harm to me though..more the pride..

Only have 1 picture of the damage, but had to strip it all the way down to this:

Everything thats not there is broken, cars are expencive in my country so costs is about 23000$... Insurance covers it though

Holy crap! Mental note: Check for road work on my favorite 'speed' roads.

I would probably curl into a ball and cry like a baby if I ever did that to my car. Sorry to hear about the car but good thing you are alive.

Frame not bent, as close as it gets though..

They stopped selling RX8 in Norway in 2006 because of the emission taxes. Mine was the last one sold new in Norway in dec06. Valued to about 48000$ before the damage..

You could make a special order for a factory new 8, but that would land in the 160-180k area :O

Ouch, glad you're ok.

I can't believe how much the RX8 goes for in Norway!!

I'm also curious about the Hydrogen powered RX8 in Norway too.
