Nice work, you should try to hardwire you radar by the rearview mirror. Then, maybe run your wires for the phone through the center console to clean up your dash.

honestly, it was pretty cheaply done.

I spent 210$ on the lilliput which I promptly cut a Big scary hole in my dash.. lol
I had the laptop already I used to control it which is in the trunk. Auto turns on when car turns on...
gauges were around 40-50$.. mini LCD was about 30$
the actual pillar pod was 20$, which I promptly hacked apart and used a combination of materials to integrate the LCD in the bottom.
the backup camera and lcd around 80$
and the car2pc about 50$
my plan was to do everything as nicely and cheaply as possible.

Materials and time were the big things. basically bondo, putty, fiberglass, PCB Plastic sheets, primer, texture spray, and paint and sandpaper and a utility knife was what was used for everything.

The phone isn't actually hardwired, I have a usb port in that little corner circle.. the wire is just a USB wire used to charge the phone, and internet sharing.

and yeah, I need to figure out how to wire the radar detector without wire hanging over the dash...

Nice work. I have a factory nav which I'm going to try and rig a back up cam + hopefully some sort of OBD II guage setup thru a programmed eprom chip and other hardware.

I haven't gotten into the wiring schematics, but hopefully rig something up eventually.

Oh no he dint! Nice work. I like the hidden back up camera, but I would have put the camera somewhere else...like say, in the passenger's side footwell! BUAHAHAHA!

so you just have like a fully assembled laptop in the trunk with wiring going to the screen? this seems like alot easier way to do a carpc
