Your RX8 parked on a boat ramp, almost touching the water!

Man.... thatz gona need some trespassing... does a puddle of water count ?

Trespassing? There are public boat ramps EVERYWHERE here..

 

Near a boat ramp? Ugh, too far away.

 

On rt28 there is a sign that says public boat ramp. Gonna drive down there and see if it is something I can do.

heh, I got the idea for this request like 4 months ago but I haven't been able to fill a request til now! GF and I parked on a boat ramp like 12 inches from the water that day, turned it off and just watched the river. Thought it'd make a cool picture

 

I would go do this but i got a cel today -.- gonna have to park the 8 until later this week when i have time to check it out.

 

Hmmmzz... Guess we are all waitingz...

 

If I remember, I'll swing by the boat ramp up here. AFAIK, it is closed though, as the water is full of logs and such.

 

We've been flooded so the boat loading area has been shutoff for the past few weeks, so I'm out for a while...

 

if i get down to LH, i think i know of a "public" ramp, just not sure if its open yet or not...

 

oh please make sure you can back up without sliding
some boatramps are steep...and usually wet lol + RWD = a pic i dont wanna see

Yeah, a few of us had to deal with the po-po last time, let's not make it even worse!

I don't go anywhere near the water, and I can't swim if anything were to happen, and I know my Rx8 won't swim either, so it's just not worth it to me, when I have such bad luck. Plus it's too much of a drive to the nearest one, anyway.

Although, when I watch movies I normally go for candy, or something, instead of popcorn. I do believe I'll break some out for this.

 

Now watch someone is gonna go out with a pro camera get fantastic photos and then give us mission impossible for the next challenge.

I stopped by the only public boat ramp in town, and it was absolutely packed with other people. Going to see if I can get my buddy down there with his new camera sometime this week, and see if we can't block the ramp for a few minutes for some gorgeous pics.

But yeah this one is pretty tough. If we don't get it soon the requester should come up with another challenge. LOL

I drove up and all these peeps where out getting sun and on kayaks and such... so i looked for a park ranger so i didn't just back in, then i seen "launch at your own risk" im like sweet and well here it is...







this thing was like a 30deg angle at best, it was fun backing down it, peeps on the water where like "Dont go to much further" lol
