Great find!

Id have to say that the rx-7 and rx-8 are 2 different cars with the only sharing factor being a rotary engine

 

Nice video. I liked how the guy changed his mind on how well the 8 was for handling and power. To bad all 8 haters would not go and test drive one to see how well they are made and fun to drive.

fitting how you didn't show the tsukuba race in that same volume of BM... the one where the rx8 barely beats the NB miata and gets stomped by the Skyline Coupe, S2K, WRX, and even the DC5-R

Made every 10 - 30 year old who watch family guy think Astley is one big joke (although, to be fair, he kind of is a joke....)

 

Having both the FD and the RX7, I can attest to what he is saying about the suspension and how both od them drive. Although I still believe the RX8 deserves a little more juice under the hood.

the RX8 enters corners faster than an S2000, but doesn't have enough power for fast corner exits...

having test driven almost everything (the skyline coupe is the G35 coupe which = 350Z) on that list except for a Type R, but I've driven the new Si, the RX8 is def underpowered, it needs more torque...

but as an attest to it's great handling, look at how it compared to the WRX for laptimes...only a second slower. the WRX doesn't handle as well but has MUCH more power. Remember we're not talking hp, but under the curve, if the RX8 made the same hp but say 1.5x the torque it would be much much faster.
