Question

easymmkayrx8 :: As far as getting in....I've seen this car in person, the doors are not up all the way in the picture....
Yeah...maybe this is just me, but could someone explain how it could be difficult at all to get out of a car with vert hinged doors?

I would think, barring the occassional low ceiling of course, that it would actually be easier to get in and out of your car this way, especially in a tight spot?

But, I must say, those are the sickest doors I've ever seen on an 8. Doors like that usually look like shiznit on anything other than the hottest exotic, but looks like the 8 can be safely added to that list.

Good job, man!

Do you mind me asking how much an operation like that would cost?

Yes, this is at least the third repost I've seen of that same exact car. I think it's somewhere in Switzerland.

Here're at least two threads:

the doors cut off part of the exit angle of the vehicle and you almost have to be in the sitting position to get in and out of the car. not extremely difficult but noticeably different.. It may be comparable toracing seats, where you just get used to getting in andf out of them after awhile, ive not been in but 2 or 3 cars with doors like that so icant say if its something you can get used too

After hearing what happend to fity cent (got his hand cut OFF by his lambo doors on his Caddy) I don't think I would want these doors. They look cool...but not worth a limb or two.

If anything, the best doors would be ones that would open straight up forward...

I believe the 50 Cent story is just a rumor.

BTW, on the owner's website, is the woman photoshopped into those pics? Sure looks like it in some but not others.
