You had access to this kind of machinery and having these skills...WTF!!! How come you dont work like on million projects? I like the fire extiguisher but not for me. OMFG is All I can think of....Check this out. Just like you made that cubby whole insert for the fire exstinguisher...How about making some insterts for the back of our driver/passenger seats to give us the ability to mount TV monitors?? I would by and I know so would others!.......The things you made for the bumper, what would it run$$ getting something made about the same size?

i want a fire extinguisher setup but not those metal bracekts that you have to screw into the side of your window and stuff. so the cubby idea is perfect. only problem might be thats its a bit far to reach from the driver seat. but thats fine.

Yes mine too has caught fire before, and mounting behind my feet on the floor seemed counter productive,,,

Its altittle far, but the fire I had was small and eventually died out on the side of the road, but during the flamming frenzy I was thinking, WTF do I do Im on the side of the road, did have any fire blanket, no water not that I would have used it,,, after that I ve alsways carried a halon with me,,
Anyway if it happens again and is small I will have time to get to it and use it, if the fire is massive well, lets hope that never happens,,,

ok this is serious! You should make rear wide over fenders! Wider than panspeed!

hahahh I have considered rear over fenders as well as how I would build them and in what material, Actually I plan on releasing an entire bodykit, I have two spare bumpers which I will use to create the winning design in my bumper build thread, an extra set of sideskirts and am still planning the rear diffuser,,,

DO IT!! Make them and wide enough so we can run 10"-11" wheels without a lot of camber!!

Your work truly is great. you should. design several idea's via your on the computer program, of different ideas you feel you could make. and offer to sell them to other rx8 owners looking for unique and custom parts.

If you are able to do rear over fenders wide enough. I will definitely be interested. I have been looking for similar things for a while.

hahah I was gonna make a mold for all those that have the GTO wing, all this work is piling up, I gotta start finishing up all these projects....

BTW the inspiration for this mod was the TechArt 996 GT2 wing

The lip for me is just the begining, I fully intend to build in an adjustable Gurney flap that will slide up and down the back of the lip...

As for the version I make for anyone else they may just get the lip...

Clean agent is definately the way to go but if that 1211 or 1301 get rid of it and get something more "kosher" discharging 1211 or 1301 can cause you lots of EPA paperwork headache if the wrong people find out about it(law, possibly insurance, fire depts etc)

if you ever pop your hood to extinguish a fire be careful. i've seen too many videos of hoods being popped and fire instantly exploding from small flickers, to stupid big - like 6-8ft flames. when you open the hood you instantly introduce ventilation, more open O2 sources, and worst of all disrupt thermal layers build up under the hood

Wow, if this is your inspiration, you're in good company. Coincidence, a TechArt 997, in a very similar color scheme was my inspiration for my setup.
