OK, half of me just wants to vomit at the sight of these guys abusing that engine. The other half takes a big sigh of relief knowing the abuse that my 8 can take in extreme cases. It will never be run like that but there is certainly nothing to worry about from shaking the engine down every now and again.

 

If it makes you feel any better, the guy in the video says it's got a blown rotor before they start.

You know what the sad thing is? If they had left on the radiator cap it would've lasted a LOT longer.

Im going to be in the market to get a new car in a few months and ive been seriously considering the 8 and i believe that video just put all other options permanently out of my mind.

 

I think it would b interesting if some rich person bought 2 8's and did that to one of them, c how long it would last w/ the radiator cap on. The 8 should b over 600mi old but i would like 2 c what would happen neway. Also i wonder how old the car in the pop video was, cause i mean i would b seriously impressed if it had oh say 100k mi or so on it.
