Retired from Mods. My WWP in peak shape.
I know a lot of you will laugh but I've always painted my calipers with BBQ Grill Paint. It's high heat, cheap, and provides anti rust protection. Brushes on easy too!
I have a box of Dulicolor though and may redo them to look extra clean, it's been 3 years since I applied the BBQ Paint....

Great looking 8. I love the appearance pkg. no spoiler. Just like mine.
Can you get away with no front plate in NY?
There is no chance of getting away with not running plates in NYC. Cops
ticket cars even when they are parked. I'd love to go plateless but can only think of one idea. Leave a note on the dash or tell the officer that someone broke your front plate frame while parallel parking and that a new mount is backordered at the dealership. I could win in court but I don't have time to be going to court. Gotta make a livin'.
Thanks for the good words and suggestions. I was thinking about doing a black vinyl roof overlay but after reading these comments I think I should rethink those plans.

Thanks for the comments guys. I appreciate all the positive feedback - sometimes you never know who's gonna get ripped a new hole when they post pictures! LOL
As for the H-Techs. Yeah not a lot of guys on here run them and I think it's a shame - I really am enjoying them. I've had other cars in the past lowered on either springs and sleeve coil-overs but I think the drop with the Htech is perfect for a daily drive car in an urban setting. On the street people know I'm lowered but the car looks well balanced and proportioned. I was looking to accomplish a unified, clean, and mature look and the Htech drop was a good match.
