I would like a little more info on the e-brake too. Since the rubber boot on mine has cracked, broken, and is falling apart.

Thanx people for the comments.

On a scale of 1 - 5 (1 = easy, 5 = hard), I would rate taking the ebrake off rates 3.
Had to cut old ebrake handle to take it off, and there was some kind of glue that stuck the ebrake handle tight, so really had to cut n pull hard.

I followed this link:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...autoexe+handle

I have the tein flex w/ edfc.

Will take more pics of the boot and ebrakes next time. :]

are the wheels 18's or 17's? Whats the size of the front and rear? 8.5? what offset on the wheels?

Could you get a picture of the side profile of the car with the 5zigen wheels on? Im looking at them possibly for my car.

They are 17 x 9.0, +35 offset, front and rear. No rubbing so far.

just wondering, is it ok to put the edfc there? reason for asking is because there are vents at the top to let hot air escape. thanks for any updates.

Not to bring up the eBrake again.....
Well..., lets bring it up again!

How did you deal with the rectangular eBrake button conversion?
Most of the aftermarket handles I've seen have round buttons...

Thanks for your patience. A lot of 8 owners would like to make this conversion.

do your seats make it hardfor someone to sit in the rear seats? do they eat up the space where the rear passengers feet normally go?
