Random Pics of My Velocity Red 8

Just thought I would share some random pics of my freshly waxed Velocity Red 8.

Here's a shot of the hood taken from inside the garage that shows depth and reflection:

Love the different shapes this car has:

This pic was taken in direct sunlight, and is about as good as I could get the gold flakes to show up in a picture. Man, you gotta love those gold flakes:

Half shot of car. This shows how different the VR color looks in sun vs shade (although the hood doesn't show up that well in this picture):

The last shot just shows the kind of "glow" that you get when the car is in the shade, due in part to the carnauba wax I am using:

Happy Thanksgiving. I continue to be thankful for 9000 RPM rotary powered vehicles! :D

The SSR Professor's are suppose to be here in December. My vendor already confirmed that they are on the boat and in route!

How in the world did you know that!?

I was a long time Zaino user (7 years), but I agree that some of the stuff that is out there now is incredible as well. I think this combo works better on the darker Velocity Red than Zaino.

That looks incredible ! I wish my VRed looked that good. How long did it take you to wash, polish, wax, etc ?

Probably about 6 hours, maybe 7.

I went over the car 3 times, first with a swirl remover (Poorboys SSR2), then a paint cleaner (Klasse All in One), then the wax (Top of the Lines Trade Secret carnauba wax).

Happy Thanksgiving!

PC all the way. I highly recommend the Porter Cable polisher for anyone serious about keeping their car looking the best it can possibly look.
