Speaking of meeting the cops reminded me of this shot from the weekend.

I'd wanted to try some night shots there for a long time because the white buildings are lit by lights with a distinctly blue tint. I thought it might be cool with the blue paint.

I had planned to drive to the end of the parking lot, across the grass and up onto the sidewalks there to be right against the building between the walls and the lights. Well, based on the test shots there we figured those lights would just wash everything out and the grass was too soft anyway and I didn't want to tear it all up.

Now, parked where it is is not illegal, but it is suspicious because that office park is long since closed being late on a Saturday night. There was another car at the far end of the lot and we figured they were a night service person or janitor and would report us if we did something screwy like driving all over the grass.

As we drove out of the office park we got close enough to see it was a State Trooper! Driving on the grass probably would have been the only thing I couldn't talk my way out of - that's my office with the neon/LED art in the window and I had my badge.
