Thats a tube frame car. The only one that I know of that was used in Grand-Am was by a pair of brothers that sell insurance in the Miami area. I don't remember their names at the moment. They never finished a 24 hrs.

Edit: It was the Golden Brothers. They didn't run the car last year. I did see it in 2007 when I was down there.

Here's my small contribution. Only about 1k miles after I got my 09. Stock cat-back & header with a Rotary Performance resonated race pipe

this video is NSFW/NWS (swearing due to amazement I guess lol)

skip to about 55 seconds in. flammage occurs right at 57-58second mark
