RX8 and a Truk....
http://www.polakgraphics.com/images/...6_RJ(wide).jpg
Try www.neatimage.com - could clean that up very nicely - what lens were you shooting with? Sorry - "With what lens were you shooting?" f/5.6? how wide can it go? The sky seems blown-out some. One thing I've learned is to reduce the contrast on shots - even if the sky is gray (due to clouds) reducing contrast allows me to at least see the clouds.
over-all good composition, however I find the edges of the image a waste - tighter crop, IMO, would make a more-interesting shot.

Nice Star! Blown out sky again. F/8 and ISO 400 - a little too contrasty, IMO, but otherwise cool.

My favourite easily. Seems a bit squished though? is it just me?

New Pics (8/17/07)
Once again full size versions available here:
http://www.polakgraphics.com/images/Pretty%20Pics/
DMP:
17-35mm EX Sigma Aspherical HSM (decent lens) was used for 006 007 and 008
its 2.8F at 17mm and 4.0F at 35mm I was using a higher fstop for more sharpness, (dim light)
Your Favorite was shot with a cheep 28-200mm Sigma Aspherical IF at full zoom hence why the image looks softer.... as far as squished its unedited.....
RR:
Yes i do they are next to some really white LEDs...

Hello,
Nice clean looking RX-8. Sometimes wish I got the Titanium instead of Sunlight. Love the alloys, what make are they? Just the type I am looking for.
Thanks,
Darran.

Try NeatImage - does wonders removing ISO noise!
Does it look too wide, thought? the perspective seems off.

this one is your best shot for sure

Pay attention to the sky next time. Your camera was definitely over exposing the sky and my eyes are immediately drawn to that. Did you shoot in raw by chance?
That one above ^ is brilliant though. Maybe a touch dark and the back of the car is a little soft, but the composition is perfect.

This is how I personally see this shot.... I couldn't fix the blown out sky, perhaps with the raw file or original JPG from the camera something could be done, or just put in a fake sky...

Quite talented with a camera. I'd recomend a split neutral density filter for the sky or a graduated filter. With or without any sky treatment, these pics are amazing and I love the soft focus of the 3rd image you posted here, clever to use a cheaper lense because this looks like an advertisement!
