I used to post on here all the time up until about 6 months ago when my RX8 was totaled. I picked up a 1971 Datsun 240Z with an RB20DET motor in it. I have since spent the past few months finishing up the swap and doing some other major work on the car. Just thought Id drop by and share a few pics now that the build is done.

All of the work/fabrication was done by me and a friend of mine. The head was ported, polished and decked. A new metal head gasket went in, a new timing belt, bolted up with ARP studs. The turbo was swapped for a Holset HY35 turbo off of a Dodge Cummins turbo-diesel truck. Custom piping for the intake and exhaust was done. External wastegate was piped into the exhaust mani I had with a screamer pipe. The new radiator was put in on a custom mount. Other goodies like a new fuel pump and injectors ect went in as well. New gauges were put in the interior. The car is being tuned at Rage Tek in Davie FL. Im picking it up tomorrow. It should hit the 400whp/tq mark. My new post will have videos and dyno numbers.

Ill smoke that Z with my AT RX8 with 130 hp to wheels! jk. Nice car my bud has one like that also but its all grey primer with black primer hood and black primer hatch

Almost perfect, I would get the wheels refinished, keep emm just bring them back to show room condition...

I am once I get the car back. They are in almost perfect condition, one little ding in one of the lips. Im going to keep them for now and polish them up but Ill eventually need more rubber than those rims can hold. Im running 225 up from and 235 in the rear right now and Im sure Ill be spinning all the way up to 4th gear. In a few months Ill get new rims and tires so I can really put the power down.
