I'm pretty sure that is the exact same car shown for the last 12 months. The cowl over the cockpit guages is still the exterior color - i thought this was confirmed by Mazda that feature was cut. Turn signals are still on the mirrors - although no word on that. more than likely the trunk still isn't finished - hence it is not open.
Still a great looking car, but I'm a little peeved that we have no new eye candy to quench my thirst.

Wow...the rx-8 looks awesome...i really hope it sells well..the interior gauges look a little different, or maybe its just my imagination. But then i went to the last pic, and the rx-7 looks just as nice or even better than the rx-8...def the sweetest body style of a japanese car. So, lets pray that the rx-8 sells well, so the 7 will be back on our streets.

Is it me, or does that last picture of the RX-8 in the autoweek link look as if the rear seat doesn't give much leg room?
Seems like there's only an 8 inch gap from the front of the rear seat, to the back of the front seat?
I'm hoping that the side passenger seat is just pushed all the way back.
