Pics and Vids of Our Day @ Mid-Ohio Race Course
RA-Eight, Huhwha, Groundrush, myself and another friend of ours from the 'Z' forums went up to Mid-Ohio to catch the races this past July.
I had never been to such a race and I have to say that it was an awesome time. We set up camp at the "Esses" which is at the back end of the long straight away which the perfect place for high horsepower, strong braking and sharp handling. Needless to say there were quite a few wrecks as some folks came in way too hot and don't make the first corner.
The Speedsource RX-8's did really well with one of them leading for most of the race. You could hear the RX-8's all the way down the back stretch as they were by far and above the loudest race cars there. I have attached a short video to give you a small idea of how loud they really were though the videos don't get it true justice. I was fortunate enough to catch both RX-8's in the same video so, turn up the volume on your computer speakers and enjoy!
The race was exciting and well worth the trip.

If I remember correctly, I believe Ham stalled in the pit and that's how he lost the lead. #70 RX-8 was strong all day. I still can't get over how loud those 8's were.
