Pics from track day (no '8s, lots of rotaries)
Hi,
I thought some here might be interested in some photos I took at a track day that was organised here in New South Wales (that's Australia
) at the Wakefield Park circuit in the town of Goulburn.
There were no RX-8s
but a good deal of rotaries including an R100, an RX-3 coupe, a '70s 929 with a series 5 turbo engine (call it an RX-4 a bunch of 1st generation '7s, a 2nd gen and a few 3rd gens. Oh, and a crazy old Corolla with a 12aTurbo!

The s6 in this photo is probably going about 180km/h
It's amazing what you can do if you abuse panorama software
The big versions of the panoramas are about 6000 or 7000 pixels wide

o man that would be an awesome commercial, like the cadillac. Like go through all the years with the RX's and hit the RX-8 at the end. instead of some guy sitting at the subway, be somewhere better...i have no idea

I'm pretty sure he had matching wheels for the street and mismatched for the track with semi-slicks.
