It's been on for awhile.. just never got around to taking pics. It's the seibon ts style hood: http://www.seiboncarbon.com/pdut_det...asp?ItemID=773

The fit is very very good, i'd give it a 9.99 out of 10. Looks great, but it will be painted in a few months to match my car.

camera phone... the girl friend "put away" my camera and now can't remember where she put it.

I'm still on the fence about leaving any CF exposed. I saw one in SoCal a few weeks ago that was painted and really liked it. I might leave the vents CF, but we'll see.

Thanks everyone for the kind words... outside of the MS wing this is the only real exterior mod of any size I've done. Not counting RX8strakes fog light, clear corners, strakers, shazbot puddle lamps (blue)...

When I first put it on I had an issue with the front lining up and after some driveway adjustments it still fit a bit askew. I took it to my local shop, Michael J's in san jose, and for 100 bucks they had it fitting perfectly. Not sure if it was something I had done incorrectly but it's very difficult to adjust a hood by yourself and I just didn't have the time to do it myself. That's why I gave it a 9.99 instead of 10.. I think if you had help a body shop would be unnecessary.

yeah, I've removed and reinstalled my own hood when I did my turbo install...it's easy to misalign it when you do it without any help.

For those wondering.. I purchased this from Rashie who sells Seibon products. Shipping was exactly on time and the price was the lowest I found after spending a good chunk of time value hunting.

I know that Seibon just started making dry carbon, and i'm starting to wonder if the TS hood I just got from them is in fact dry carbon. Looks exactly the same as yours but does not have the glossy finish...Hmmm
