welcome. nightview mode is extremely sensitive to movement and shots get blurry easily. you can get a tripod or shoot pics when there's light.

You don't need a better camera. Heck, mine is 4 years old and does the trick. Just use a tripod, adjust for white balance, and look for better lighting sources next time. And it's not even a DSLR, ha!

I think you need to play with the adjustments on your camera. Maybe try using the flash and/or play with other adjustments in the dark, like 'white balance'.
