Pics of my 1987 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo II
I couldn't find any other section just for pics(I hope it doesn't have ot go to the lounge and gets to saty in this section). I know it's no Rx-8. I cannot afford one as I'm only 16. But it's related in that it is rotary powered. So I figured I'd post pics of my car. Hope you guys enjoy it. (I know some may think "oh no, another 16 sports car owner. I am very careful with this car and it shall remain this clean for the remainder of it's life (I'll respray the same color paint sometime soon adn rebuild the engine) but it's not getting riced out. I want it to look like a showroom car forever.
These pics were the ones that the previous owner took when selling.
Also had my girlfriend take a coule pics of the 7.
Front
Back
Interrior is still uber clean after owning for 9 months of owning.
Artistic pic of the Tach my Girlfriend took. Not too clear I know but looks cool.
Then me in my hatch. Don't ask.
And a cool filmgrain vintage style pic. Courtesy of Jessie.
On a side note...... she now wants my car >.< I may have to do the fuel pump cutoff mod to keep her from getting any ideas.

Ehh but I notice every imperfection I plan to correct. The roof is sunbleached and chalky, as are parts of the hood. there are crappy decalls on the B-pillar and on the hood (looks like a scratch) drivers side front bumper turn signal has a deep scratch near it . The passenger fender is bent and makes the bumper droop on the passenger side. The passenger exhaust pipe hangs at an odd angle, and the passenger side view mirror has a few deep (like 1 cm) scratches. I think it scraped a wall sometime in it's life. As well as a few door dings. thanks for the comliments I plan of keeping it nice for years. Rotary for life.

OMFG! You never told me about your fender! I was wondering why the bumper looked so ******* weird...I never said anything because yeah....damn dude...get a better picture of that. I don't get how a bent fender makes the bumper droop...???

I had an 88gtu when i was 16. it was a lot of fun till i got my real S5TII. The car is almost 20 years old, so be ready to spend money. I still think its a better daily driver that an fd. I wish you the best of luck. pm me if you are interested in some parts. I should have a bunch of stuff in my garage.

Screw the car, I can't believe you have a girlfriend!
Just kidding man, Nice ride. The Front end looks tweaked though. Save up some dough and get it paint job.

Thanks. I've had her for 9 months. She'll stay stock visially other than smoking some of the turn signals and marker signals so the orange doesn't stand out on the black and show the car's age so much. Performance will be upped a tad with the rebuild and maybe some springs, brakes later on. As well as S5 (1989-1992) wheels.

Yeh looks okay I spose
and young man, as for your comment re: if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all - if I recall you weren't all that nice to others about their "stock" Rx8's.
Quite frankly, I'm surprised you havent received much more criticism on here! so congrats on that aspect.
In all honesty though, for 1987 model, does look pretty remarkable! As for your girlfriend wanting your car... I'll tell you a secret to save you future arguments with her - just nod and say "yes dear"

You think you are happy with it now......add a turbo upgrade, front mount, large injectors, port/polish, 3mm apex seals and chip. Then turn up the boost. My buddy has these mods and more on his 87 with a 90 TII swap. Untuned he put down around 260whp and 220 tq at 10psi. He plans on running 15 - 20 psi daily driver.

If I up the boost it'll only be to 10 (from 7) psi. Maybe 12 if I rebuild it with 3mm seals which I probably wont machine the rotors to accept. Most liekly I'm just going to upgrade the chassis around the stock engine with the exhaust and intake replaced after everything that is worn is replaced.

You're just about the only person I know, or better said, "have seen," that doesn't cover up there license plate. Except for all the cool ones, like "NOPIZTNS" (is that right?) or with their names like "MISSSK"
Anyways, not the point. Great looking FC, that was orginally my first choice, but unfortunately, the TII (white) that I wanted, well let's just say I called 20 minutes too late. But my 8 has yet to let me down.
Keep it clean.

Damn man, very nice. I myself am a second gen owner. And man, your Turbo II is the cleanest FC I have seen, right up there with mine =). Although mines a GXL, currently slated for a Turbo II conversion fully done by May. Nice car!
