you don't want a sponsorship. half of the time you don't even get to see your car cause the company uses it for advertising. and they won't let you put on whatever you want on. sponsorship is basically big brother telling you what to do with your own car. i guess it all depends on what company you want a sponsorship from. a friend of mine got a sponsorship from falken tires b/c of his drifting skills. he gets a rack load of tires and some wheels for free. but he has to attend certain events and have his car painted a certain color, blah blah blah. his sponsorship isn't too bad since he is part of the american D1 team.

Why would someone buy gunmetal rims when youcan get free ones by not washing your stock rims for a few weeks?

I haven't a clue, but I'm sure someone will jump on that soon.

Why is it when I see a black car with gold rims, my thoughts immediately go to a late 70's Firebird?
Gold on green reminds me of a late 80's Firebird Formula.
I'm from the Midwest, so I guess I grew up with rednecks driving Firebirds all the time.

Yeah, that works. Thanks. Too bad I might not be getting rims very soon. Sometime yesterday, my 40 gallon aquarium with three of my prized Discus (it's a pretty fish) leaked out all of it's water. Let's just say they were worth more than one of the 5Zigen Heidfelds. I live on the top floor of a 3 story condo. I'm praying (and I'm not a religious man) that there isn't that much damage. My neighbors below only found a little bit of moisture. The water was as clean as drinking water, and I think my carpet soaked up most of it, so I may only need to replace that or not even. But, I'm going to need to keep some cash handy just in case...even though I have pretty good homeowner's insurance. Dammit Dammit Dammit!!!
