our "new" RX-8 WINNING BLUE
Long time sports car owner here, used to own a Dodge Stealth modified to over 500hp, running 11.9's in the 1/4 and able to turn very well (for a Stealth). Sold that a year ago and got a Civic Hybrid (yawn)... which we crashed a few weeks ago. Picked up this 2004 RX-8 with exactly 26k miles. Car is IMMACULATE. No swirls in paint, interior is PERFECT.
Has the Sport and Touring packages (NOT the "grand touring"), and the emblem package. Has the HID's and fog lites, and the previous owner had some very nice (and dark) tint done. Also I think he did something pretty custom, there's 2 blue "LED" spotlight things up near the lights on the front roof. They turn on when you click the passenger side overhead light. Looks really cool at night!
Probably won't mod this car other than possibly suspension, but I WILL be using this on road course for sure!
In case you're wondering, the pics were taken out near Red Rock canyon (outside of Las Vegas) today. And yeah, just a little photoshop work (saturation and shadow/highlight) but these are still very similar to "real life".

That looks awesome. I own a 07 Phantom Blue, but I have much love for the WB's out there. I can't wait for some warm weather here in the nationals capital so I can get some shoots as nice as those! Keep her on the paved stuff.

Nice pictures. You definitely get a gold star for "Best First Post Pictures". Congrats on the new car and this car is definitely more interesting to drive than the Civic.

Very nice pics, and great color choice! now a very important question, how hard is it for you to see out of those windows at night? This is the first wb I have seen that dark and it looks great!

First pic is amazing. The third pic is good, but the second pic has the wood post sticking out of the 8 like a vampires stake. Sunroof closed next time or maybe try taking both style pics.
Car looks great though!

Yep I live in Vegas... North Las Vegas actualy, in Aliante.
As for tint, it's not too bad at night, pretty dark but I'm able to deal with it.
Maybe I'll do some photoshop and get that stake out of the top of the car, I just noticed it. The 3rd pic had a very ugly power wire going across it like the 2nd one and I took it right out (healing tool rocks!).
I'll probably play with pic 2 at some point...
again thanks for the comments guys, we almost got a yellow one but since I'm driving it most of the time I wanted something a little less girly. I do love the yellow ones, though. This one was $500 more but the yellow one had basically NO options, so $500 more for the HIDs, sunroof, etc. etc. was well worth it I think.

No problem to use it as wallpaper, I have a giant version too if you want it, just PM me and I'll upload and send it to you. The pic was taken with a Canon EOSxt Digital SLR at full quality so the full size version can be blown up to poster sized.
Yep, it was at Red Rock. Can't wait to go see Blue Man Group... probably in May!
