Was thinking I might try to add some more red to the exterior to continue more of the red/black theme so with the help of bose I got a couple PS pics of my car with a few things red.

I like the way the side markers look and I think I like the spoiler. The mirror covers and fender vents I'm not a huge fan of though (wasn't sure about those before, which is why I had him do 2 versions).

I had originally been thinking of something subtle like a pinstripe or something, but couldn't think of a good way to place it. Just want to get opinions or ideas about what might look good without being too ridiculous.

I had thought about that too. I also forgot to mention eyelids... though that would either come out terrible or decent.

 

Your going the wrong way with it. Painting stock body parts to match your aggressive looking wheels is not what you want to do. I love those wheels, but right now they do not go well with the rest of the car. You need to lower it, add a body kit, and possibly a more aggressive wing than stock. And keep them all Black, A red wing on a black car just doesn't look good.

 

^^^+1 Topgear is dead on, you cant paint anything on that rx8 red and it wont look good, gotta get an agressive kit to pull that off, and i think a pinstripe would add some as well

what about an aero kit minus the front lip painted red? i don't like those rims on the rx8. Good looking wheels in general but not too sporty imho

 

just leave it alone. if it was the other way around (red w/ black), it would be alright. but, this is too much. do other things such as a bodykit, etc.

Oh man, I dont like anything that was PS'ed... the wheels look good man, you dont need any more red to accentuate them

 

lol, was just thinking... I definitely dont have money for anything right now anyways (I just like to think of what I can do next). I had thought about something like those rotors but didn't want to do an exact copy. I remember someone had some well placed stripes but cant remember whose car or what color at the moment.

I think I know what you're talking about... his stripes went from the trunk lid just under the windows and down the side of the bonnet stopping at the corners of the grille. It's white with black stripes.
