having an extra fridge in the garage is awesome!
easy way to have beer handy for when you're working on the car and a the freezer serves as a meat locker.

I'm not as worried about moisture as I am salt. It's the Michigan road salt that has caused my Mazda3 to be a rust bucket after 4 years. And I don't see much evidence of moisture in the air or on anything in our unheated (converted car port) garage. It's so dry during the winter my hands practically crack and bleed just walking through the garage to the house. The cover (plus garage) exists to keep the car clean, but mostly the cover is there to minimize scratches from the minivan door, metal on people's pants, bags, etc., and other assorted crap that would be moved or carried through the garage.
