Nurburgring Nov. 15-16, 2008 (Lots of Pics)

I went to the track last weekend to run my car before I put it in the garage for the winter. I ran 9 dry laps on Saturday and 5 very wet laps on Falken Azenis's

on Sunday. Right now I'm running Mid 8's to 9 minute laps.

One of the 4 tickets I bought, Next year I'm buying the season pass

My 2004 Mazda RX-8

yes, I have but its more fun in the RX8 since its not worth over $100,000.

I did push it and I passed quite a few porsches and the ring taxi which is a M5. I did not time the lap but the Stock Nur Edition of my car ran a 7:56 stock at 350 hp and my car has alittle over 500 hp right now.

Was that a "tourist day" or a track day? I was there in October.......damn it is an awesome track. Wish I could have had my car there....the Peugeot renta-pig wasn't a lot of fun

Got to ride with a buddy in a done out BMW 135 with custom KW and Movit brakes damn that thing hauled ***...and it was his wifes DD

I found a place to rent "trackcars" while I was there.....I'm definitely going back for a week in the next year or two for a school and a lot of laps........
