noob video taker needs help
Ok so i recently got this flip video hd mini recorder thing
not sure if that is the same model but gives you an idea of what i am working with here.
My problem is the only "movie" maker that i have is the windows one, which is fine except that it does not play mp4 files which is what the video records in. I know that there are conversion sites/programs out there. Does anybody reccomend any programs that are LEGAL that i could use to convert the video into something that windows will play? i know this is like movie making 101 stuff but this is my first digital video recorder so i know nothing
thanks in advance.

The camera didn't come with any software?
Anyways, Sony Vegas starts at $60 or you can get the Elements edition of Photoshop and Premiere for $130. I actually don't know of a good free suite to use... I guess technically "all" software is free but since starting work for a software company I try and pay for everything legitimately.
