Newest Inexpensive Mod

the mazda symbol are the rear calipers. I did paint the rust and don't worry about the over painting i allready took that off after i took the pics. hope everyone likes them!! they turned out great!

Did you hand paint it all and rush it? Missed quite a few areas and splattered on the pads.

no i didn't rush it, yes i hand painted it. I know i missed spots and got it everywhere. As the post says, i cleaned it all up after i took the pictures. My camera died so i couldn't take anymore and i was at my friends house.

Thank you! yep looks good as new i only painted the calipers and around it because of rust. Hopefully within time it will look 100% perfect that's what happened with the fronts. i decided to go ahead and do the rears. i believe i got the stickers which are high temp stickers from xenonmods.com they sent me 2 sheets 3 each of the rx8 and a full sheat with like 6 mazda and 6 mazda symbols all for $7

they are actually the blue ones from autozone but at the time i got them i had color matched spray paint and sprayed them so if the paint wears off they are still blue haha. i cheated.

Did you put a clear coat on? Will help keep your stickers stay on and calipers looking good for a while longer.

id do that by im too lazy to get clear coat so my caliper paint can chip after a few months.

yeah i hope it doesn't chip lol. oh well if it does i'll redo it the stickers are affordable haha. I just bought high temp engine clearcoat.
