Just had some new window tints installed today for £159 child scratch proof and uv protection and keeps cool inside when hot weather so verry happy buy.

Tints not allowed in the front?

 

there just the two rear and back windows mate had them done by a pro tinting garage locally

 

Looks good but why didn't you have the fronts tinted?

 

some tints are ilegal in uk for front windows so wont bother as they get fussy about it

 

that stinks that they are that way about tint on the front. Ive never had a problem with mine 15% all around and 35 on the windshield. though i am in the us.

 

Should have tinted the fronts, but you gotta follow the rules.

 

Idaho has 35% on any windows that move and "port" windows are 25% doesnt stop me from rolling down my windows and having it dark as hell on the back. If they cant get their dumb tester then they cant ticket you

i would have gone for a very light tint on the front to balance it out, light enough that the law wouldn't know if it was factory or not

Some states make front sides illegal as well.

I'm curious though... I've never heard of Child proofing tint for scratch proof. I'm sure give the tint some time alone with a 2 year old, it's not going to be "child proof".
