It's been a while since I made any modifications to the car, but last week I finally had some time and ordered all new LED lights for my RX-8. When I was done with the installs I felt good so I washed her up and went to the nearby park to snapped off a few photos.

where are the LEDs from?

 

is that the curvature of the road in front of your car . Man that ride is sittin LOW !

 

The last time I tried to "upgrade" my front parking lights, I gave up because I couldn't get
my hands behind the passengers side ECU box.
I'll be removing my bumper in a few weeks and I'll try to get to them that way.
Man, they're a bitch to get at!

I don't like the center look on the rear tail lights.

Maybe it looks better in person.

juikster, my cars suspension is all stock. I was searching for a road with a bit of a lip for that lowered look.

Eyeball fixer, I had a hell of a time getting to those stupid lil lights. Everyone talked about how easy it was and I just couldn't do it. I had to walk away from it for a while before attempting it again. The first time I lost 2 LED bulbs in the position light and had to use my magnetic 'wand' to gently and patiently pull them out. I learned a lot during this. Those suckers better stay lit because I sure don't want to do that again if I don't have to.

my10ae, did you get your lights from the same place?

Razz1, I'd prefer to have LEDs spread out throughout the lense, but in person it actually doesn't look to shabby at all. The red is a nice deep red and is evenly dispersed throughout the lense. It doesn't look as center-heavy as it does in the pictures.

 

NVMYGT:

Bought my LED's from autolumination. Bought the 2 6led's parking lights in hyper-white, a set of H11's 65watt super-white fogs, 2 hyper white 194's for my puddle laps, and 1 hyper white led for my rear license plate light.

Gotta work on replacing my fogs this weekend.
