Yes sir, we don't have the ability to bevel the edges. Please look at our gallery to see how it will come out:

I would love to, but our laser can't even scribe aluminum, so the flat/etched is the best we can do.

i dont know what you guys are expecting.. its a new unique design that will cover the old holes and not look cheap at all. If your looking for a one of a kind cut aluminum block keep looking around i guess.. i personally dont want to spend over a hundred on one emblem.. anyway for those that are interested hes cutting one out for me to get a final picture. That may change a lot of peoples opinions once they see the finished product.

ummm^ the better solution is not having it flat...we just came up with a different solution. the design is cool, but make it deep!

I want to be clear; I was NOT complaining - just trying to provide positive feedback; I LIKE the work on the site; but the design published leaves a bit to be desired.

I am not a designer by any means; but I can see that playing to the strengths of the existing products may help.... IE we don't NEED a rotor shaped one with a "flying m" feel to it - do we?

its hard because one main key, is people want it to cover their existing holes, which this will do. To do this and look good it has to in some way resemble the shape of the stock emblem. Most companies online that do emblems(there arnt many) wont bevel edges because that requires cutting from a block i believe which is a lot more complicated and expensive. I hate the flying M, but not that much.. so I took this route. I kind of molded the design after the 24k gold and platinum rotor emblem design from Japan that was in a thread awhile back that went for a ridiculous amount of money. Anyway hes cutting the product within the next hour or so for my emblem and either him or I will get some pics up at least.

I like the look. Never really cared for the bevel look of the existing emblem. Kane - not sure what you mean by the flying m look. If you are talking about the circle outline around the rotor, it is probably necessary to cover the post holes. (My guess, anyway - I've never pulled them to see where the posts are)

I still have the same concern, and since 3rd shift is posting maybe the answer can be posted here:

Will the front emblem have an appropriate curve to it so it fits the nose without the need for bending or manipulating?

I concur. As usual. You're a smart guy.

im not sure how I can tell him the amount to curve it though, even if he can. My guess is that it will be easy to put a little curve in it by hand to have it match the bumper perfectly. Im going to curve it a little for my MS bumper.. so ill let people know. Its not solid steal so it should be easy to manipulate a little.

The edges on it are harsh. For a car with so many curves, that sharp edge kinda looks wrong. If it was coated in a thick coat of clear could you get a more "rounded" look? I'm no expert with things like this, but I've seen pins that put a coat of clear stuff on it and it gives the pin a bit more depth and shine.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about here?

It's very well done, I just need to see it on the car.

Agree....I like that design, but agree that it might look more natural on the car beveled. I'm in for these when the final product is figured out!

Clarification, please. Does "each" mean each emblem, or each set?
